Class Registration Policy

To ensure a smooth and professional registration process for all students, please review the following policy before signing up for any firearms training course:

1. No Refund Policy

All class registrations are non-refundable. Please be certain of your availability and eligibility before registering. In the event you are unable to attend, please contact us to discuss possible rescheduling options, which are subject to availability and approval.

2. Law Enforcement Only Classes

For classes designated as Law Enforcement Only, registration must be completed using your official department email address. This helps us verify your law enforcement status and ensures compliance with class requirements. Registrations made without a valid department email may be rejected or delayed.

3. Department Invoicing Option

If you opt to have an invoice sent directly to your department:

  • The invoice must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled class date.
     
  • Failure to ensure timely payment may result in cancellation of your registration and loss of your spot in the class.
     
  • It is the registrant’s responsibility to coordinate with their department to meet this payment deadline.

Tuition Cancellation and Refund Policy

Modern Threat Management is committed to providing quality training experiences. To ensure clarity and fairness, the following policies apply to all course registrations:

  1. Student Cancellations
    Tuition is non-refundable in the event of a student cancellation. However, if written notice is received at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled course start date, the full tuition amount may be applied as a credit toward a future course, provided space is available. This credit must be used within twelve (12) months of the original course date.
     
  2. Waitlisted Course Exception
    If the course is fully booked and your canceled seat is filled by a participant from the waiting list, a full refund will be issued, less a $25 administrative fee.
     
  3. Cancellations by Modern Threat Management
    In the event that Modern Threat Management cancels a course, all registered participants will be given the option to receive either a full refund or a tuition credit applicable to a future course.
     
  4. Refund Processing
    Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. If a refund must be processed via paper check, a $25 processing fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
