Patrol Red Dot Handgun Instructor

This intensive, three-day Red Dot Handgun Instructor Course is designed exclusively for sworn law enforcement officers seeking to become certified instructors in the deployment and instruction of red dot optic-equipped duty handguns.

The course provides both the technical and instructional foundation necessary to effectively train agency personnel in red dot pistol usage. Topics include optic selection and setup, zeroing procedures, duty-grade equipment considerations, maintenance, and performance-based shooting drills tailored to real-world law enforcement applications.

Students will also receive in-depth training on how to diagnose shooter errors, develop training progression models, and integrate red dot optics into existing department qualification and training programs. Emphasis is placed on adult learning strategies, range safety, and instructor-level coaching skills.
